(Warning, SUPER LONG con report ahead )

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by my table, said hello, or even purchased something from me or !! Thank you especially to those who took the time to give us encouragement on our art...it means so much to both of us!! And it was so much fun meeting people, making new friends, and seeing older ones! !

I had a fun time at AX...but OMG I was so SO STUPID It was terribly embarrassing ;_;.

I...I learn, though ;_;! *tries to comfort self*

On the first day of Anime Expo, I cosplayed as Lenalee from D Grayman:

You can't see them clearly there...but OH MY LORD THE BOOTS!!! THEY WERE THE DEMON BOOTS FROM HELL!!!!

I'm not used to wearing high heels. But I thought, hey. I'll get sore and maybe bruised feet. I'll live.

I didn't realize. And I'm warning all of you out there. High heels CAN ACTUALLY DAMAGE YOUR FEET. Like...SERIOUSLY. O___O;;

I wore the boots throughout the first day. I didn't walk around much because my feet were uncomfortable, and by the end my feet were really hurting. Kind of badly...but not ESPECIALLY painful like I felt like I would die or anything. I thought I had held up pretty well. Then I got home and took the boots off. And realized. I couldn't feel my toes. Literally. Seriously. There was no feeling. I could smash them and I felt nothing. OMFG.

I thought..."Oh! They probably fell to sleep! They'll be better in the morning!" But I wake up the next day and there was NO improvement. OMFG. By then I was panicking. I was like...HOW STUPID IS THIS IF I'VE PERMANENTLY DAMAGED MY FEET OVER A COSPLAY?!!!!

It ends up that I had actually pinched the nerves in my feet. And had them pinched over the course of the 8 hours. I didn't know, though, because my toes had lost all feeling and so I didn't notice anything wrong. I ended up damaging the nerves in my feet. O_____________O;;; It turns out this isn't even something RARE! It sometimes happens to people who wear high heels for too long when they aren't used to them. BEWARE, EVERYONE!!! HIGH HEELS ARE DANGEROUS ;_;!!!!

But OMG the lucky thing is that it's supposed to be able to heal. Slowly. Over the course of a month or so. As long as I rest them and don't do this again. *sobs with relief*. My toes are still feeling kind of numb / painful right now, but they ARE better than they were before.

OMG ;_;. Because of that I couldn't go the entire second day of AX orz. (NUUUU!! I missed seeing so many people who might have stopped by the second day ;_;!! *weeps* I WANTED TO MEET EVERYONE! orz orz) I also couldn't man the artist's alley table much after that or help at all with setup or taking stuff down or ANYTHING ;_;. I felt so bad leaving so much work for *Potatobuns, my aunts, and my mom to do. And then because my mom and aunt got so exhausted manning the table on days two and three, they decided we should all just skip the last day of AX so we all could rest ;_;. (At first I thought they were furious at me or something...but thankfully they were just tired and weren't angry at me for being so stupid ;_; ). I'm so sorry to everyone who I planned and asked to do trades with!! I totally didn't realize that we wouldn't be there the last day orz.

So...yeah. Ack.

I guess told everyone about what happened to me while I wasn't there? When I did manage to go to AX on day three, random people I didn't even know would stop me and ask me if I was the girl who had the pinched feet O_O;.

But I do want to say a really big thank you to everyone who expressed concern for me, or asked how I was doing ;_;! Thank you so much!! It really meant a lot to me

Not everything about this incident was a bad thing. I really did end up finding out who my friends were .

I especially want to say thanks to the people who took the time to hang out with me and keep me company for those hours when I was banished to sit in the corner (by the bathrooms, LULZ), resting my feet, on Day 3 ;_;! Especially when some of you guys had tables to man... OMG THANK YOU ;_;!!!!! Me, and a couple other artists whose DA usernames I am forgetting *fails* had an impromptu sketch jam together~! And then and several others also stopped by and kept me company for a while as well ;_;! (LET ME KNOW YOUR DA NAMES IF I MISSED YOU!!! *_*) So I still had a ton of fun, even despite my messing things up!

I also want to apologize to everyone who came over to say hi to me or have me sign things, who I didn't stand up to greet. I totally didn't mean to be unfriendly! I just had a hard time standing up because of my feet. ;_; And also sorry to everyone in the AA who I didn't get to stop by your tables or buy from like I had planned. I managed to walk around a bit on Day 3 and visit some friends, but then my feet really started hurting again so I couldn't go through or stop by everywhere T_T! *weeps*

But then...on Day 3 a friend I met from last year's Anime LA (sorry I'm forgetting your DA username!) also stopped by to keep me company for a bit while I was sitting. And it turns out she had a similar story to mine...but 100000000 times worse O_O;. On Day one, she actually FELL DOWN THE ESCALATOR O_O;;. And seriously injured her foot. She had to have surgery right away (without anesthetic, from what I heard, OMG!). So she couldn't come on Day 2 either. But she was there on Day 3...in a wheelchair T_T;;. Gahhh!!! Poor, poor thing! I hope she's feeling better now!!!

Conventions can be dangerous ;_;. Please be careful everyone!!

But ANYWAYS! On to other stuffs!

These photos were actually taken a while back while the costumes were still incomplete . We didn't manage to take any good pictures of ourselves at the con x_x;! If anyone happens to have taken any / see any, please let me know!

Besides cosplaying, I have to mention. The convention staff for the AX's artist's alley ARE SO INCREDIBLY NICE OMG ;_;. My mom was saying it was like they were family ;_;. . They totally made our first experience with an artist's alley table a wonderful one .

In fact, so many of the people at AX are SO INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY AND NICE *_*! It always amazes me how just random people you meet can be so nice and so much fun! I made so many fun new friends just from randomly talking with people at the convention ;_;!

Also, hand-made two special cat plushie pins especially for *Potatobuns and me...OMGGGG THEY WERE SO CUTEEEE!!!!! *__*!!! I'll have to post a photo later! But then I didn't get to see her again later and I felt so bad because I didn't get to give her the sketch I drew for her or anything else in return and...gahhhh ;_; *fails*. I'M SORRY SHIA!!!! WE BOTH ADORE THE PLUSHIES, AND I SHALL GET YOU YOUR SKETCH SOMEHOW *__*!!! *determined*

It was so awesome meeting finally, too! SHE WAS SO NICE ;_;!!! Even though her table was so packed she still took the time to come out and talk with us and everything ;_;! *piles Kurot with luff* And was sooo cute and sweet and had the most adorable cosplay (AND PLUSHIES UWAHHH!!) was insanely nice (and patient, OMG I SWEAR I'LL FINISH YOUR PICTURE SOON!) and her Queen of Hearts cosplay was insane pretty and detailed and cool! (I have a pic of =pandari and ~FaBuLoUsLyCoNfUzZLeD cosplaying but I won't post them unless they say it's okay .) was awesome to meet and hanging out with was fun! (Hahahaha, my mom had fun talking in Chinese with you ) Thanks for keeping me company a bit on day 3, and thanks also for the photos! was able to sneak to the convention I'm so glad she was able to come though *_*!!! The sketch jam was a blast! And OMGGG I BOW DOWN TO HER PEN SKETCHING SKILLZ *_* I shall treasure her Cloud piccie always ;_; I met a new friend, , too! She gave me the most adorable gift print *_*! And it was awesome to meet and finally too after so long *_*! So much fun!!! ! I...I missed seeing though, on Day two...*WEEEEPS* NUUUUU ;_; Next time! Next time! orz And thanks also to for stopping by to say hello ^^!! I finally met too, who was so sweet and we were even able to do a trade! (I adore the chibi keychains, so CUTE!) It's so much fun to meet people from DA and online though!

Ah, I already can't wait for next Anime Expo *_* ! Hahaha, and I are thinking about going to Anime LA and the artist's alley there, too! *_*

Right now I shall be off to Arizona soon to stay for a while, though!
